Production Specialist - TV and Film Production


Job Status: Part-time freelance fixed-term contract for 22 months from  January 2026

Our TV channel, The Heritage TV, aims to raise awareness of local heritage and foster a strong sense of place within the community.


Project Overview -  Heritage Channel- Series 4

Duties will include working on an exciting project that will engage people of all ages in the Heritage of North East Lincolnshire by producing and broadcasting high-quality programmes across a range if streaming platforms and social media sites. I will also increase the capacity and resilience of organisations and people involved in heritage, including young people, by running workshops in Tv and film production and providing work experience


Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with project teams to develop and produce engaging TV and film content that reflects local heritage.

- Oversee all stages of production, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing.

- Coordinate with volunteers and community members to ensure inclusive participation in projects.

-Assist in running TV and Film workshops

- Manage equipment setup, operation, and maintenance to guarantee high-quality production outputs.

- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to established content and quality standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree or Apprenticeship in film and TV production

- Proven experience in film and TV production, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.

- Strong knowledge of production techniques and equipment.

- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

- A passion for community engagement and a keen interest in promoting local heritage.

- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas. 

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Freelance Videographers

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio of work.

- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).

- Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse groups.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation, preferably in a non-profit or community-focused setting.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas. 

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Freelance Part-Time Administrator to support the delivery of lottery-funded and Arts Council-funded projects. The role is central to the smooth running of projects and will involve financial administration, monitoring and reporting, scheduling, communications, and general project support.

The ideal candidate will be a confident multi-tasker with strong administrative and communication skills, experienced in working within the requirements of publicly funded projects.



Key Responsibilities


Financial & Administrative Support

Managing project budgets and tracking expenditure against funding agreements

Handling project banking tasks, including processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records

Maintaining clear and auditable records in line with funder requirements

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Monitoring and recording project activities, outputs, and outcomes

Supporting the collection of evidence for evaluation and funder reporting

Preparing progress reports and final reports for lottery and Arts Council funders

Project Coordination

Scheduling project activities, meetings, and deadlines

Maintaining project timelines and shared calendars

Providing general administrative support to project teams

Funding & Development Support

Assisting with bid writing and funding applications, including gathering supporting information and evidence

Maintaining records of funding deadlines and application outcomes

Communications & Promotion

Posting and scheduling content on social media platforms to promote project activity

Supporting basic communications tasks, including updates to stakeholders and partners



Person Specification


Essential

Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Confident using popular social media platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with partners, funders, and project teams


Desirable

Proven experience working on lottery-funded and/or Arts Council-funded projects

Experience of monitoring and evaluation for funded projects

Familiarity with funder compliance and reporting requirements

Experience supporting freelance or arts-based organisations
